Passed away at Eventide Homes Stawell on May 27th 2026 , Dearly loved husband to Mary (Dec) and friend to all who knew him. A Gentleman at Rest
A Service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Stawell on Wednesday June 10th 2026 commencing at 11.00am. A Private Cremation will follow.
Very sad to read of Rod’s passing. Such a lovely man & Eventide won’t be the same without him. Sleep peacefully Rod
Rod was a wonderful nurseryman with a fountain of horticultural knowledge. We all developed a love of Australian native plants because of him and Auntie Mary.

Rod and I first met in 1975,and we were good mates ever since. We spoke regularly and also shared the same birthday.. I will miss our talks about plants.and old times. His reply to how are when called was always, still breathing!
