Notting – Alan

Passed away at MacPherson Smith Aged Care, Stawell, on September 12th, 2026. Dearly loved husband of Ruth (Dec). Loving father to Brian, Ian, Val, Cheryl, Audra (Dec), Craig and their families.

The funeral of the late Mr. Alan Notting will be held at the Stawell Senior Citizens Centre (Victoria St, Stawell) on Thursday September 24th, 2026, commencing at 1.00pm. Followed by a burial at the Stawell Lawn Cemetery.

    Sad to hear of Uncle Alan’s passing, although we haven’t talked for sometime I always found him to be engaging. Thoughts are with all at this sad time.

    To my cousins Brian, Ian, Valerie, Cheryl and Craig. Although we have not kept in touch for many years now I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Alan’s death. I have fond memories of spending many happy holidays with him, Aunty Ruth and you, especially Brian and Ian, when you were children. My thoughts are with you all.

    Alan Notting I used to look after Alan and his grand son Gwilym Notting and Gwilym pater left I took over and Gwilym told me to look after granddad so I did took granddad shopping to the post office and to Iga were he did his shopping watch the seekers with granddad on Sunday and talk about his wife Ruth and how much fun she was and talked about bran Ian Audra chel and Val and Graig how what great kids they were and how much fun they were so what a great dad he was to all his kids and he loved all his kids so much
