McArthur (Prowse) – Carmel

Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday 28th April 2026, doing what she loved, travelling to new places. 

She will be deeply missed by her children Justine & Anthony, granddaughter Audrey, siblings Frank, Margaret & Michael, stepchildren Stephen, David, Larry, Jo, Tim, Bec & Simon. Reunited with her late husband Barry. 

Memories of Carmel will be treasured by family, friends and all who knew her. 

Funeral arrangements to be advised.

  1. Truly sadden by the unexpected passing of Carmel a true friend so glad I got to spend the last fue days with her on what she loved doing travelling.

  4. I was truly shocked and saddened at Carmel’s passing and will miss her greatly. I’m honoured to have spent the last few days with her doing what she loved most, travelling. She was a great friend.

    • Carmel had a beautiful soul, and a well loved human…so many nights we played cards at all sorts of places. Cards was people’s meeting place and we all loved catching up with Carmel.

      Forever in our hearts ( we know you will be playing cards with toots, claudie and yourself )

    So many memories from our school days together and summer holidays in Torquay in our youth. You met Barry on your great Aussie adventure and never looked back.
