Condolences to Steve & family. A long time friend of the family & Dad’s work mate…
Ron has finally made his way to the Wednesday morning cuppa catch-up… Eric, Frank (Luigi), Phil & Wendy will be happy to see him.
RIP Rocka…
Ron, what a privilege it was to be neighbours for so many years. Thank you for your friendship, your stories and the memories you left behind. You will always be remembered with great fondness. Rest peacefully.
Sympathy to Steve and family on the passing of Ron. Ron was a foundation Executive member, Life Member and a Hall of Famer of the Grampians Cricket Association . He had a wealth of Cricket knowledge which he would readily share with those who would listen. Ron was a fierce competitor on the field and good bloke off it RIP “Rocker”
So very sorry to hear of the passing of Ron. He was not only a valued workmate of Dad’s but a treasured friend. Many hours were spent together duck shooting and driving around checking out the local lakes and waterways.
I had to book an appointment if I needed Dad to pick up my kids from school as his daily afternoon drives with Ron were a priority.
Ron and Wendy were regular and welcome visitors when Dad became unwell.
A gentleman who will be sadly missed.
Condolences to Stephen and family.
Sad to learn of Ron’s passing. Sincerest condolences to Steee and Families….gunna miss ya chats and opinions Ron …RIP Coach.
Rest in peace in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ron and Wendy were two of the best! There are so many wonderful memories of the renowned Maddocks family and the backyard cricket pitch which spawned multiple generations of well-coached, tough cricketers. A truly huge loss to the district and the sporting community in particular. Condolences to Steve and the whole family.
Condolences to Steve and family on the passing of Ron. He was a legend of Grampians Cricket, Youth Club CC Champion and wonderful teammate and coach. I have fond memories of fierce Sunday morning nets in the Maddocks backyard with other young cricketers Ron was coaching. I hope that Ron and Wendy get to enjoy a cuppa with former teammates in Albert Hurley and Lance Ingleton and reflect proudly on their times together and legacy they leave behind.
RIP “Rocker”
Well spoken mate…
Condolences to Stephen and family on Rons passing. Ron and I shared passions through cricket and shooting and the proudest moment in my life was ringing Ron to tell him I had made my first ever 50 after playing for 20 years. Thankyou for your coaching and support Ron and I look forward to catching up one day again.
A long time D’Arcy Street neighbour to the Kelly family. Fond memories
Thank you to everyone for their kind words and memories of Ron.
