Passed away peacefully at Stawell on July 8th 2024, Loved daughter of the late Kathleen & Francis Bennett , Sister to Charles(Dec), Neil (Dec) & Lawrence (Dec) , Aunty of Peter, Ronald, June, Doreen (Dec), Sheryl (Dec), Phillip, Ian, John, David, Margaret, Mark, Ross and Their Families.
Funeral Service will be held at Stawell Uniting Church on Friday July 19th 2024 at 11.30am followed by burial at the Deep Lead Cemetery.
Members of the Deep Lead Cenetery Trust wish to acknowledge Lesley’s long and efficient management of the affairs of the Trust in her role as Trust member and secreatary.
Lesley built from scratch a detailed register of burials in the cemetery and has maintained this for many years. Her painstaking research has been of benefit to many families.
She was meticulous in all of her endeavors and her contribution to the Trust will be of benefit to the community well into the future.
So many wonderful memories of Lesley. An amazing lady who kept us spellbound with her stories, Lesley you were one of a kind and will be so missed. A life well lived, rest easy, you’ve deserved it. Del and Ian Rickard.
Aunty Lesley, I never had the chance to know you well but Mum Doreen always spoke fondly of you. Thank you for your kindness to Mum in her sickness which she appreciated so much. Thank you for making this world a better place for the younger generations to appreciate. Robin & Dean Campbell
